New Delhi, October 8 (Daily Kiran) : Indian Railways has unveiled a significant opportunity for job seekers. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced vacancies for 3,548 positions in the Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) through an official notification.
Among the available roles, there are 127 Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor positions, 2,750 Goods Train Manager roles, 300 Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist positions, and 371 Senior Clerk-cum-Typist roles.
The online application process commenced on October 8 and will remain open until November 6. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the RRB’s official website before the deadline. The last date to submit the application fee is set for November 8. Candidates who make mistakes while filling out the application will have a chance to correct them from November 9 to November 18, though a modification fee will apply.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university. The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 33 years, calculated as of January 1, 2027. Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories.
During the application process, candidates must pay the required application fee online, which is set at ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹250 for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PWD/Women/Transgender/Minority and EBC candidates.
Selection will be conducted through a series of assessments, including a Computer-Based Test (CBT-1), a second Computer-Based Test (CBT-2), document verification, and a medical examination. Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹35,400 for the Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor position and ₹29,200 for all other roles.
