Guwahati, April 7: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is a dream job for thousands of young individuals. If you are one of them, IIT Guwahati has officially announced recruitment for a total of three positions, including Project Technician.
IIT Guwahati is inviting applications for three roles: one Senior Research Fellowship (SRF-Direct) and two Project Technician positions. The online application process has commenced, and the deadline to apply is April 10. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to visit the official website and submit their registration forms within the stipulated time.
Candidates applying for the SRF-Direct position must possess a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized institution or university, or be a graduate/postgraduate in a professional course. They should also have qualified the National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET), which includes the Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
For the Project Technician role, candidates must have an ITI certificate along with three years of experience, or a diploma in Engineering/Design, or a B.Sc/B.A. with three years of computer experience. Additionally, both positions require candidates to meet other specified eligibility criteria, skills, and experience.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on merit, shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. The salary for selected candidates will range from ₹15,000 to ₹42,000 per month, along with other benefits and allowances.
Interviews will be conducted offline on Monday, April 13, at 4:00 PM at the Electronics and Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Guwahati. Candidates are advised to arrive on time for the interview.

Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, check the form, and submit it.
