AIIMS Bhopal Announces Recruitment for 39 Assistant Professor Positions

Bhopal, April 9: A remarkable opportunity has arisen for those aspiring to work at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The institute has officially announced the recruitment of 39 Assistant Professor positions across various departments. The online application process commenced on April 6 and will close on April 12. Eligible candidates are advised to submit their registration forms before the deadline.

The available positions include specialties such as Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Urology, Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTVS), and Medical Genetics, with one opening each. Additionally, there are two positions for Neonatology, Nephrology, Pulmonary Medicine, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Trauma and Emergency Medicine, Burns and Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, and Dermatology. Furthermore, three positions are available for Medical Oncology/Hematology, Radiodiagnosis, Critical Care Medicine, and Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology.

Candidates must possess an MD/MS degree from a recognized institution or university, along with other specified qualifications and requisite years of experience. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 50 years, calculated as of the interview date. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of qualified candidates will be based on application screening, shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹1,42,506. Document verification and interviews will be conducted at ‘Kautilya Bhavan (Administrative Building), AIIMS, Saket Nagar, Bhopal-462020’.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹2,000 for General/OBC/EWS categories. However, candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with Disabilities and women will be exempt from the registration fee.

To apply, candidates should first visit the official AIIMS Bhopal website. After reaching the homepage, they should download the application form for the relevant position and print it out. All required information must be filled in, and relevant documents should be attached. Finally, the completed registration form should be emailed to the designated official email address.
