Patna, August 27: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for young individuals eager to kickstart their professional careers in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT). IIIT-Bhagalpur has issued an official notification inviting applications for a total of 21 apprentice positions across various units, offices, and departments.
The 21 vacancies for apprentices at IIIT-Bhagalpur include 3 positions in Computer Science and Engineering, 3 in Electronics and Communication Engineering, 3 in Mechatronics and Automation Engineering, 2 in Mathematics and Computing, 2 in the Library, 1 in Finance and Accounts, 2 in Computer Center/Website Management, 3 in Administration, and 2 in Store and Purchase.
The online application process for these apprentice positions commenced on August 21, with the deadline set for September 9. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the NATs 2.0 portal before or by the final date.
Applicants must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a recognized institution in fields such as CSE/IT, ECE/Telecommunications/Instrumentation, Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Computing, Library and Information Science, Commerce, Computer Applications, or Arts/Business Administration.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 25 years, calculated as of September 9, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, shortlisting, merit list, document verification, and medical fitness certification. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹12,300 per month for Graduate Apprentices (degree holders) and ₹10,900 per month for Technician Apprentices.
