Shimla, May 5: The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPRA) has announced an official notification for the recruitment of 14 coaching positions under the School Education Department of the Himachal Pradesh government. These positions are for various sports in sports hostels.
The vacancies include 4 positions for volleyball coaches, 1 for a football coach, 2 for basketball coaches, 2 for kabaddi coaches, 1 for a badminton coach, 1 for a boxing coach, and 3 for hockey coaches.
The online application process commenced on April 27 at 10:00 AM, and the last date to apply is set for May 19. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can register on the official website before the deadline.
Candidates who make errors while filling out the application form will have the opportunity to correct them. The correction window will remain open for four days after the application submission deadline. However, candidates will need to pay an additional fee of ₹100 for this service.
Applicants must hold a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university, along with a one-year diploma or postgraduate diploma in the relevant sport from a National Sports Institute. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility and skill requirements.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 45 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a computer-based exam, written screening tests, merit lists, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹25,000, along with other benefits and allowances.
All candidates must pay an application fee of ₹800 online while submitting their application. Please note that the application will only be accepted after the registration fee is paid.
To apply online, candidates should visit the official HPRA website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Register and log in, then fill in all required information in the form. Upload all requested documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form. Finally, print a copy of the application for future reference.
