Mumbai, April 15: Honor is among the few brands that provide smartphones equipped with 10,000mAh batteries. The company has already released both mid-range and flagship models featuring these substantial cells, including the Honor Power 2 and the Honor Win series (Win and Win RT).
Now, Honor appears to be setting a new benchmark with a potential 11,000mAh battery.
A recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that Honor has begun trial production of a new battery rated at 10,690mAh, with a typical capacity of 11,000mAh.
Although the specific phone has not been identified, the report indicates yet another Honor device designed around a significantly large battery.
This new model would surpass Honor’s current battery champion, the Power 2, which comes with a 10,080mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 27W reverse wired charging.
Previously, Honor launched the original Power, featuring an 8,000mAh battery and 66W charging. The advancement over just one generation is remarkable.
Honor Power 2 Specifications
While details about the rumored 11,000mAh Honor device remain scarce, the Honor Power 2 serves as a useful reference.
It houses a 10,080mAh battery within a surprisingly slim 7.98mm chassis. Charging capabilities reach 80W wired and 27W for reverse charging.
On the front, the device features a 6.79-inch OLED LTPS flat display with a 1.5K resolution (2600 x 1200 pixels). The panel boasts a peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits and includes 3,840Hz PWM dimming to minimize eye strain.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
In terms of photography, it includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 5MP ultra-wide lens on the back, along with a 16MP front-facing camera. The software runs on Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top.
