The 125cc motorcycle segment has always enjoyed strong demand among Indian customers. In October 2025, Honda Shine Plus SP secured the top position in sales within this category.
Honda Shine Plus SP achieved a dominant 38.80 percent market share by selling 1,44,372 units in October 2025. However, the motorcycle experienced an 8.90 percent decline in sales compared to the same period last year, when it sold 1,58,471 units in October 2024.
Bajaj Pulsar claimed the second position in the sales rankings with 87,562 units sold, registering a healthy 27.81 percent annual growth during this period.
TVS Raider secured the third spot by selling 56,085 units, marking a 9.64 percent year-on-year increase. Hero Glamour followed in fourth place with 28,830 units sold, showing an impressive 18.34 percent annual growth.
Hero Xtreme 125 R ranked fifth with 24,582 units sold, though it faced a significant 38.14 percent annual decline. Hero Splendor took the sixth position with 18,566 units, experiencing a steep 40.33 percent drop in sales compared to the previous year.
Honda Hornet secured the seventh spot by attracting 9,899 new customers during the month. Bajaj Freedom ranked eighth with 2,152 units sold, but suffered a massive 92.84 percent decline in annual sales.
KTM recorded the most dramatic fall, selling only 6 units in October 2025, representing a severe 94.50 percent annual decline, placing it ninth in the rankings.
Despite the overall decline in Honda Shine Plus SP’s numbers, the motorcycle maintained its leadership position in the competitive 125cc segment, demonstrating the brand’s strong customer loyalty and market presence.
