Holi Celebrations Bring Joy and Unity Across Jharkhand

Ranchi, March 4: Holi is being celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor across Jharkhand, including in Ranchi, on this Monday.

From early morning, towns and villages have been alive with colors and festivities. People are applying colored powders to each other, exchanging warm wishes for the festival. Numerous community gatherings and cultural programs have also been organized at various locations.

Jharkhand’s Governor, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, extended his greetings to the residents on the occasion of Holi. In his message, he expressed hope that this festival of colors, symbolizing joy, enthusiasm, and brotherhood, would infuse new energy into everyone’s lives.

He wished that this celebration would further strengthen harmony and goodwill in society. Chief Minister Hemant Soren also conveyed Holi wishes to the state’s citizens via social media. He emphasized that this festival of colors conveys a message of love, brotherhood, and togetherness, inspiring us to share happiness and strengthen our relationships.

The Chief Minister hoped that this auspicious day of Holi would bring prosperity, new hope, and energy to everyone’s lives, filling every home with joy and abundance. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s state office in Ranchi also celebrated Holi collectively.

In the presence of State President and MP Aditya Sahu and Organizational Minister Karmveer Singh, party workers applied colored powders to each other, sharing festive greetings. This occasion reaffirmed their commitment to organizational unity, mutual brotherhood, and national service. Opposition Leader Babulal Marandi also wished the residents a happy Holi.

In a social media post, he expressed his desire that this festival of colors brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to all. Excitement was notably high among the youth and children in various areas of the capital, Ranchi.

People were seen dancing to the beats of DJs and traditional drums at many locations. The administration has also made necessary arrangements to maintain peace and law and order during the celebrations.
