Hisense Unveils 2026 ULED MiniLED TVs Featuring 165Hz Refresh Rate and Dolby Atmos Audio

Mumbai, March 13: Hisense has launched its 2026 ULED MiniLED TV lineup, introducing new models in the U6 and U7 Series. The company aims to provide MiniLED performance, large screen sizes, and modern features at more affordable prices. The U7 Series is available starting today, while the U6 Series will reach retailers in the coming weeks.

This new lineup arrives just ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, set to take place in the United States. Hisense anticipates that the event will boost interest in larger televisions for home sports viewing. The ULED category, which includes both the U6 and U7 models, occupies a mid-range position in Hisense’s TV portfolio regarding performance and pricing. An RGB MiniLED Series, positioned as an ultra-premium tier above the ULED range, will be introduced later.

The U7 Series is designed as the higher-performance option within the lineup. It caters to sports viewing, gaming, and large-screen home entertainment. These TVs utilize thousands of MiniLED backlights for precise control over brightness and contrast. They are powered by Hi-QLED MiniLED Pro technology, featuring Full Array Local Dimming and the Hi-View AI Engine Pro, which optimizes picture processing for sports broadcasts, movies, and streaming content.

Motion handling is a standout feature of the U7 Series. The TVs boast a native 165Hz refresh rate and motion processing capabilities that ensure smooth action during sports and gaming. This technology minimizes blur and maintains clarity during fast-paced scenes.

Screen sizes in the U7 lineup extend up to 116 inches, catering to shared viewing experiences, such as watching live sports or movies with friends. Audio is delivered through a 50W 2.1.2 channel sound system that supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, providing immersive sound without the need for additional speakers.

The U7 Series will be available in two smart TV versions: the U7SG models, which run Google TV, and the U7SF models, which utilize Fire TV.

The U6 Series aims to make MiniLED technology accessible to a broader audience. This lineup includes the U6SF Pro and standard U6SF models, featuring Hi-QLED MiniLED displays with Full Array Local Dimming and Quantum Dot color technology to enhance brightness, contrast, and color accuracy across various content types.

Additionally, the U6 models feature AI-driven picture optimization that automatically adjusts image settings based on the content being viewed. Sound quality is enhanced with an integrated subwoofer and Dolby Atmos support. The screen sizes in the U6 lineup range from 55 inches to 100 inches, and all models operate on Fire TV OS.

Pricing & Availability

The U7 Series starts at $1,299 and is available through retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and other partners. The U6 and U6 Pro Series will be rolled out in the coming weeks, offering multiple size and model options.
