High-Speed Car Collides with Auto-Rickshaw in Shakarpur, No Injuries Reported

New Delhi, April 25: A high-speed car collided forcefully with an auto-rickshaw in the Shakarpur police station area of Delhi. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Following the crash, the car driver fled the scene.

The police received information about the accident through a PCR call. Upon arrival, the police team discovered that the auto-rickshaw was being driven by Sanjay, a resident of Mayur Vihar, Delhi. At the time of the incident, three passengers were also aboard the auto-rickshaw, identified as Harish Chandra, Sejal, and Geeta Devi, all from Mallapur, Pipalpura village in Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh.

The impact was so severe that the auto-rickshaw sustained significant damage; however, all occupants emerged unscathed. According to police investigations, the vehicle involved in the collision was a Maruti Baleno. Immediately after the accident, the driver and his companions fled the scene. The police have identified the registered owner of the car based on evidence collected at the site.

The Shakarpur police have initiated legal proceedings in this case. They are making every effort to locate the fleeing driver and his associates. The police team is reviewing nearby CCTV footage and pursuing other leads. Authorities are confident that the driver will be apprehended soon.

The police have appealed to anyone with information regarding the accident or the whereabouts of the fleeing driver to contact the Shakarpur police station immediately. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are expected soon.
