Ramesh, a beneficiary of the scheme, shared that he enjoys tasty meals for just five rupees. Ashok, who manages a Labor Annapurna Scheme center in Gandhinagar, reported that over 120 workers come daily to receive meals for five rupees. The meals consist of lentils, rice, bread, and vegetables, with sweets occasionally included. Every worker who visits the center is served food.
Kamlesh, another worker, stated that he has been eating at this center for two years and finds the food to be excellent.
Shanti Lal, another beneficiary, remarked that the Gujarat government is running a fantastic program, providing full meals for just five rupees. In this era of rising prices, this initiative is like a lifeline for many. He noted that a significant number of people come to receive their meals.
Another worker added that the meals are very good for just five rupees, and there are no issues at all. He expressed his gratitude to the government.
