
Gandhinagar, August 13: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign by hoisting the national flag on his rooftop. This initiative celebrates the 80th Independence Day of India and the 150th anniversary of the song “Vande Mataram.” The campaign aims to see over 7 million homes across Gujarat displaying the tricolor.
In a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Patel stated, “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign is being held nationwide from August 9 to 17. On this auspicious occasion of our 80th Independence Day and the 150th celebration of ‘Vande Mataram,’ I hoisted the flag at my residence in Gandhinagar this morning and reaffirmed my dedication to the nation.”
He urged citizens, “From border villages to metropolitan areas, let us hoist the tricolor at as many homes as possible in Gujarat; let us all resolve to participate enthusiastically in this great national sacrifice.”
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi joined a flag procession in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. He shared on X, “A grand journey of patriotism—the Tiranga Yatra! On the occasion of the 80th celebration of Independence, we had the opportunity to participate in the Tiranga Yatra in Ahmedabad, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a massive crowd.”
Sanghvi added, “Accepting Prime Minister Modi’s call, with everyone’s cooperation and a spirit of patriotism, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which glorifies Mother India, has spread throughout the country.”
The BJP’s social media highlighted, “The grand Tiranga Yatra in Delhi conveys a remarkable message of patriotism, unity, and national pride. Let us wave the tricolor at every home during this sacred festival of freedom and strengthen our commitment to the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of our nation. Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga!”
