New Delhi, August 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently shared an inspiring message on the social media platform ‘X’. In his post, he quoted a Sanskrit verse: “दैवं पुरुषकारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम्. न दैवेन विपन्नार्थः पुरुषः सोऽवसीदति॥”
The translation in Hindi conveys a powerful message: “A person who possesses strong determination, relentless effort, and the ability to turn adverse situations into favorable ones never succumbs to life’s challenges but continuously strives for success.”
On the previous day, he emphasized the strength of the nation’s youth, stating, “Our young companions are not just the future of the country; they are also its greatest strength in the present. They have carved a unique identity worldwide through their sensitivity, service, and capabilities.”
Additionally, he shared another Sanskrit verse on ‘X’: “चक्षुषा मनसा वाचा कर्मणा च चतुर्विधम्. प्रसादयति यो लोकं तं लोकोऽनुप्रसीदति..” The Hindi interpretation reads, “The person who wins the hearts of others through their vision, thoughts, words, and actions becomes worthy of their trust, respect, and goodwill.”
Earlier on Tuesday, he posted another insightful verse: “अष्टौ गुणाः पुरुषं दीपयन्ति प्रज्ञा सुशीलत्वदमौ श्रुतं च. पराक्रमश्च बहुभाषिता च दानं यथाशक्ति कृतज्ञता च..” This translates to, “These eight qualities illuminate a person’s life. Wisdom clarifies their path, virtue purifies their conduct, and self-control keeps them disciplined. Knowledge provides discernment, courage keeps them steadfast in tough times, and eloquence earns them respect in society. Giving according to one’s ability and being grateful for favors complete their personality.”
