Greater Noida, February 28: The grand flower exhibition organized by the Greater Noida Authority at City Park has captivated the local community. Residents are flocking to the event, taking selfies amidst vibrant flowers and stunning displays.
This year, a centerpiece themed “Operation Sindoor” has drawn significant attention. Beautiful sculptures of the national bird peacock, caterpillars, tigers, and butterflies crafted from flowers are enchanting both children and young adults. The exhibition showcases over 70,000 flowers from approximately 50 different species, transforming the park into a vibrant tapestry of colors.
In the designated play area, children are joyfully enjoying swings and various games. The authority has made entry and parking completely free, encouraging more visitors to partake in this festive occasion. Alongside the flower exhibition, daily cultural programs are also being held.
On Friday, students from 18 schools showcased their talents in a fashion show, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. Additionally, students from 17 schools performed group dances that captivated attendees. A theatrical performance delivered a powerful message on environmental conservation, linking the event to social concerns. Shree Lakshmi VS, the ACEO of the Greater Noida Authority, has urged residents to attend the flower exhibition in large numbers to ensure its success.
The evening drone show infused the atmosphere with a spirit of patriotism and development. The sky was illuminated with images of the national flag, the Greater Noida Authority logo, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, investment hubs, knowledge parks, the women’s cricket team, Noida International Airport, Flower Festival 2026, Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and Lord Rama.
The audience was thrilled by these spectacular visuals, filling the venue with applause. The fragrance of flowers, the vibrant cultural performances, and the grandeur of the drone show have made this flower exhibition one of the most memorable events in the city.
