Governors and Chief Ministers of Telugu States Extend Eid Greetings to Muslims

Hyderabad, March 21: The governors and chief ministers of both Telugu states have conveyed their warm wishes to Muslims on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, will be celebrated on Saturday in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla extended his greetings to the Muslim community on this festive occasion. In his message, he stated, “As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, I extend my heartfelt wishes to the Muslim community on Eid-ul-Fitr. I express my deep respect for the teachings of the Holy Quran and their profound impact on society throughout history. My prayers are with everyone, wishing goodness, prosperity, and peace across the world.”

He further added, “Ramadan is a time for self-discipline and spiritual reflection, inspiring us to uphold the principles of dignity, the sanctity of life, and adherence to religious teachings. Eid-ul-Fitr is a celebration of blessings, a time to spread love, and an opportunity to create a beautiful future. Wishing everyone a joyful Eid. Eid Mubarak to all.”

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy also offered heartfelt Eid greetings to Muslims. He expressed hope that Muslim brothers and sisters would celebrate this festival with their family members, relatives, and friends in joy and enthusiasm. The Chief Minister noted that Ramadan symbolizes secularism and communal harmony.

He remarked that the rigorous fasting and charitable acts performed by Muslims during the holy month serve as an inspiring example for all humanity. Emphasizing Telangana as a symbol of ‘Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb,’ the Chief Minister asserted that the state government prioritizes the empowerment of the Muslim minority. He prayed for Telangana’s prosperity and asked the Almighty Allah to bless people with harmony, happiness, and peace.

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer also extended his greetings to Muslims on Eid.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu similarly conveyed warm wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters. He stated, “This holy month of Ramadan in Islam offers a splendid opportunity to purify the mind through fasting and prayers, to walk the path of goodness, and to promote mutual love and affection. Charity towards the poor fosters equality in society. I wish that this Ramadan fills your life with joy, peace, good health, and prosperity.”

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also sent his Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslims.
