Chaitra Navratri Day Two: Auspicious Timings and Rituals to Observe

New Delhi, March 19: The second day of Chaitra Navratri, a festival dedicated to the worship of Adishakti, will see the reverence of Goddess Durga in her second form, Brahmacharini. Worshiping Brahmacharini is believed to bestow the virtues of penance, restraint, knowledge, and detachment. Devotees are advised to offer white clothing, sandalwood, flowers, and white sweets to the goddess. This day holds special significance as the Sarvaarth Siddhi Yoga is in effect throughout the day.

Additionally, the Amrit Siddhi Yoga will also occur, lasting from 6:25 AM to 2:27 AM the following day. Furthermore, a favorable Vijay Muhurat will be available on Saturday from 2:30 PM to 3:18 PM, which is considered highly auspicious for new ventures, prayers, and mantra chanting.

On March 19, sunrise will be at 6:25 AM, and sunset will occur at 6:32 PM. The second day of the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will continue until 2:30 AM on March 21. The Revati Nakshatra will also prevail until 2:27 AM the next day, transitioning to Ashwini thereafter. The Brahma Yoga will last until 10:15 PM, while the Balav Karan will be present until 3:43 PM.

Religious beliefs suggest that tasks initiated during Sarvaarth Siddhi Yoga are likely to succeed, while any new endeavors or prayers during Rahukal may yield unfavorable results. According to the Drik Panchang, the auspicious Brahma Muhurat will be from 4:50 AM to 5:38 AM, and the Abhijit Muhurat will be from 12:05 PM to 12:53 PM.

The Vijay Muhurat will be from 2:30 PM to 3:18 PM, and the Godhuli Muhurat will be from 6:30 PM to 6:54 PM. The Amrit Kaal will take place from 12:13 AM to 1:43 AM, while the Nishita Muhurat will be from 12:04 AM to 12:52 AM.

It is also crucial to consider inauspicious timings. On this Friday, Rahukal will run from 10:58 AM to 12:29 PM, and Yamgand will be from 3:30 PM to 5:01 PM. Gulika Kaal will occur from 7:56 AM to 9:27 AM, and the Varjy Kaal will be from 3:16 PM to 4:46 PM. During these times, it is advisable to refrain from starting any new or auspicious tasks.
