Analysts attribute the decline in prices to strong job data from the U.S., which has increased expectations of a potential interest rate hike in the upcoming Federal Reserve meeting, negatively impacting both metals. Additionally, a strengthening dollar index, currently around 99, has added further pressure on gold and silver prices.
