
Ahmedabad, August 15: On the occasion of Independence Day, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, emphasized the immense potential of India’s youth. He stated that the next generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators is already present in the country. The key lies in recognizing, supporting, and providing them with the right platforms to thrive. He believes that these talents will play a crucial role in building a ‘Developed India‘ in the future.
Adani announced the successful conclusion of the first edition of his initiative, ‘Vande Bharatam,’ which introduced him to India’s true capabilities. He noted that there could be no better example on Independence Day than thousands of youth from across the nation coming forward with their ideas and innovations.
The ‘Vande Bharatam’ initiative received over 26,000 applications from across the country. Participants included young startup founders, women entrepreneurs, rural innovators, and talented individuals from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, all of whom have made a mark with their innovations and problem-solving abilities.
In a post on the social media platform X, Adani stated, “We received over 26,000 applications, representing every state in the country. Young founders, women entrepreneurs, rural innovators, and problem solvers from smaller towns participated. For me, they are all winners, and their journey has just begun.”
He highlighted the depth and diversity of talent present throughout the nation. According to him, talent in India is not confined to major metropolitan areas but is also abundant in smaller towns and rural regions, where many individuals possess the potential to drive change through innovation and entrepreneurship.
Many participants praised the platform, stating that it provided them with direct access to investors and mentors, which would help advance their ideas and businesses.
In his Independence Day message, Adani also stressed the importance of the country’s development, trust, and values. He remarked that staying true to one’s beliefs, values, and principles during critical moments in life is paramount.
He stated, “There are many occasions when the most important thing is to remain honest to the values and beliefs you trust.”
