The National Association of Civil Servants (NACS) Bihar-Jharkhand has launched its UPSC Interview Guidance Programme 2025 for candidates from the two states who have cleared the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination. This initiative is completely free and aims to provide expert guidance to help candidates prepare for the crucial interview stage of the civil services selection process.
According to Santosh Kumar, IAS officer of the 2014 batch and coordinator of NACS, all preparations for the interview guidance programme have been completed and registrations are now open. Eligible candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand who have passed the UPSC Mains can register on the official NACS website to take advantage of this programme. Early registration is advised to ensure participation in mock interviews and guidance sessions.
This year, NACS has introduced a hybrid mode for mock interviews to enhance the programme’s effectiveness. Alongside the offline mock interviews conducted in Delhi as before, there will now also be offline sessions held in Patna, allowing candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand to receive expert guidance closer to home without the need to travel to Delhi.
For candidates residing in remote areas outside Delhi and Patna, the programme will continue to be available in an online mode. This ensures that no eligible candidate is left out due to geographical constraints.
The interview stage of the UPSC Civil Services Examination assesses not only the candidate’s knowledge but also their personality, outlook, and problem-solving skills. The NACS programme offers guidance from successful and experienced IAS, IPS, and other civil servants, providing valuable insights and support.
Candidates can benefit in several ways from this programme, including preparation for questions related to the Detailed Application Form (DAF), developing a balanced and logical approach to current affairs, and receiving personal feedback through mock interviews to improve their performance.
This free guidance programme is an excellent opportunity for aspiring civil servants from Bihar and Jharkhand to realise their dreams and succeed in the final phase of the UPSC selection process.
