When buying motorcycles today, buyers don’t just look at engine performance, mileage or looks – features have become equally important. Among these advanced features is cruise control, which was previously seen only in big touring bikes. If you take long highway rides, cruise control gives your hands rest and automatically maintains speed. The good news is that this feature is now available in affordable bikes too, with some priced under ₹1 lakh.

Hero Glamour X is India’s most affordable cruise control bike with prices starting from ₹83,000. The company has made Glamour X the country’s cheapest cruise control bike by adding this feature. Getting such a feature in the commuter segment is a mega update in itself. This is the first 125cc commuter to get cruise control, and the GST reduction has made its price even more attractive, offering value for money for budget riders.

Hero Xtreme 125R offers high-tech features in a 125cc sporty bike, priced from ₹1.04 lakh. After Glamour X, Hero has also given cruise control to Xtreme 125R. But it doesn’t stop there – it also gets ride-by-wire throttle, dual channel ABS and 3 riding modes including Power, Road and Eco modes. It features Hero’s color LCD screen similar to Glamour X, making it the most advanced in the budget sports bike segment.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V comes with a 160cc engine and is priced from ₹1.34 lakh. This is Hero’s third model in this list. The top variant of 160R 4V now gets cruise control along with ride-by-wire throttle. It offers Rain, Road and Sport modes with a new color LCD screen and updated switchgear. Getting so many features in a 160cc segment bike is truly special.

TVS Apache RTX is a powerhouse with ride modes and cruise control, priced from ₹1.99 lakh. TVS has done an excellent job by making cruise control standard across all variants of Apache RTX. This bike offers a combination of premium touring and adventure capabilities. It features 4 riding modes – Urban, Rain, Tour and Rally – with separate ABS and traction control setups. The top variant gets a bi-directional quickshifter, making RTX an excellent choice for long highway rides or touring.

TVS Apache RTR 310 is India’s first bike with Cornering Cruise Control, priced from ₹2.21 lakh for the cruise control variant. While RTR 310 was previously India’s cheapest cruise control bike, Glamour X has now taken that title. However, this bike’s specialty remains unique with its Cornering Cruise Control feature, meaning the bike automatically adjusts the set speed as it leans into corners – a feature usually found only in super premium bikes.

These five motorcycles represent the most affordable options for riders seeking cruise control functionality, making long-distance riding more comfortable and accessible across different budget segments.
