Fatal Car Crash in Jalgaon Claims Three Lives, Four Injured

Jalgaon, 8 January: A tragic car accident occurred late Wednesday night near Kannada Ghat in the Chalisgaon area of Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, causing panic across the region. The vehicle suddenly lost control, resulting in the deaths of three passengers and leaving four others seriously injured.

The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled. Local police arrived promptly at the scene following the distress call. After considerable effort, the occupants were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The exact cause of the accident remains unclear, but police have launched an investigation.

According to reports, the three deceased were residents of Shevgaon. They have been identified as Tukaram Rambhau Ambhore (27), Shekhar Ramesh Durpate (31), and Ghansham Ramhari Pisote (30). News of the accident has cast a pall of grief over their families and the entire Shevgaon community.

The four injured individuals, who are also from Shevgaon, are undergoing treatment at the hospital. They include Yogesh Tukaram Sonvane (28), Akshay Shivaji Gire (25), Gyaneshwar Kanta Mod (24), and Tushar Ramesh Ghuge (26).

The accident has deeply shocked the people of Shevgaon, with mourning prevailing throughout the village. The families of the deceased are facing immense sorrow.

Currently, no official case has been registered regarding this incident. However, the police have indicated that a formal case is likely to be filed soon. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby locations to gather more details and clarify the circumstances leading to the crash.
