Farmers Celebrate PM Modis Achievement in Agriculture

Mumbai, May 21: Farmers have expressed their congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for receiving the highest honor from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Yogeshwar Chandrakar, a progressive rice farmer from Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, praised the recognition during a conversation.

He stated, “India is an agriculture-driven nation, and this honor for PM Modi is indeed a moment of pride for all of us. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Prime Minister on behalf of all farmers.” He urged PM Modi to fulfill his commitment to doubling farmers’ incomes by providing all necessary facilities to enhance agricultural productivity and maintain crop quality.

Chandrakar emphasized the need for safe and healthy practices to mitigate the impact of chemical pesticides on crops. He commended PM Modi’s leadership, noting that those who work diligently will surely be recognized. “The way PM Modi is establishing India’s identity globally through diplomacy and strategy, while consistently advancing the development agenda, is commendable,” he added.

He highlighted that the honor bestowed upon PM Modi benefits not only India but the entire world, playing a crucial role in establishing peace. “His multifaceted efforts have led to this achievement, and we take pride in living under such a Prime Minister’s leadership.”

Additionally, Bharat Dighole, founder president of the Maharashtra State Onion Producers Farmers Association in Nashik, congratulated PM Modi. He remarked, “On behalf of Maharashtra’s onion farmers, we welcome and extend our best wishes to PM Modi for receiving this prestigious international honor in agriculture.” Maharashtra is known for cultivating various crops, including grapes, sugarcane, soybeans, and onions, and farmers from these sectors also congratulated the Prime Minister.

In fact, PM Modi was awarded the prestigious Agricola Medal by the FAO at its headquarters in Rome. This award recognizes his exceptional leadership in food security, sustainable agriculture, and rural development on both national and global levels.
