Mohali, April 19: In the 29th match of IPL 2026, Punjab Kings (PBKS) will face off against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) this Sunday. Fans of PBKS are hopeful for a remarkable victory at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.
Shubham Jain, a dedicated PBKS fan, expressed his confidence in an interview, stating that he believes the team will secure a win. He added that captain Shreyas Iyer will not only lead the team to victory in this match but also help clinch the IPL 2026 title. Another fan, Pranav, noted that PBKS currently sits at the top of the points table and is optimistic about continuing their winning streak.
Supporter Sikandar Khan shared his admiration for Shreyas Iyer, stating he is a huge fan and expects PBKS to defeat LSG in this match. Other fans echoed this sentiment, hoping Iyer’s bat will shine once again, leading PBKS to their fifth victory of the season.
Lucknow Super Giants’ captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and opted to have Punjab Kings bat first. PBKS has made no changes to their playing eleven, while LSG has included M Siddharth in place of Digvijay Rathi. So far this season, PBKS has won four out of five matches, with one match ending without a result. In contrast, under Pant’s leadership, LSG has won two out of five matches, suffering losses in three. Currently, PBKS leads the points table, while LSG is positioned eighth.
