Exciting Job Opportunities: GPSC Announces Recruitment for 11 Positions Including General Manager

Gandhinagar, May 7: A golden opportunity has emerged for youth preparing to become civil servants. The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 11 various positions, including General Manager.

The vacancies announced by GPSC include six Deputy Executive Engineers (Civil), Class-2 (GMB); two Deputy Executive Engineers (Mechanical), Class-2 (GMB); one Manager, Class-1 (GMB) (special recruitment drive for persons with disabilities); one Deputy General Manager, Class-1 (GMB) (special recruitment drive for persons with disabilities); and one General Manager, Class-1 (GMB) (special recruitment drive for persons with disabilities).

The online application process commenced on May 5, with the last date for submission set for May 19. Eligible candidates interested in applying can visit the official website to submit their registration forms within the specified timeframe.

Applicants must possess a degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution or university, along with an MBA/PGDM (full-time) for certain positions. Additionally, candidates must have relevant experience in the specified field and meet other eligibility criteria.

The minimum age for candidates is set between 20 to 21 years, while the maximum age ranges from 35 to 47 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a preliminary (objective) exam, interview, document verification, and the final merit list. The selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹53,100 to ₹2,09,200, depending on the position. The preliminary exam, consisting of 300 marks, is tentatively scheduled for July 26, followed by a 100-mark interview.
