Patna, April 28: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work in the High Court. The Patna High Court has announced openings for eight District Judge positions. Interested candidates can submit their applications until May 15.
The recruitment includes three positions for District Judge (Entry Level) for candidates who passed the Bar Exam in 2026, four positions for those who passed in 2023, and one position for a candidate who passed in 2021.
The online application process commenced on April 16, with the final date for submission set for May 15. Eligible candidates are advised to register on the official website and submit their forms within the specified timeframe.
Candidates with a minimum of seven years of experience as advocates or judicial officers can apply. The age limit for applicants is set between 35 and 50 years, calculated as of March 30. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
When applying, candidates must pay the application fee online, which is ₹1,500 for general/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/others, and ₹750 for candidates from scheduled castes and tribes from Bihar.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a screening test (if conducted), written examination, oral examination, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹1,44,840 to ₹1,94,660, or according to the previous pay scale of ₹51,550 to ₹63,070 per month.
