Itanagar, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) in Itanagar has officially announced 217 job vacancies across various departments, including positions for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANM). The recruitment notification was released on October 10, 2026.
Among the 217 vacancies, there are 61 positions for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives in health services, 7 for Laboratory Technicians, 1 for Allopathic Pharmacists, 11 for ECG Technicians, and 23 for Dental Technicians. Other roles include 16 Health Assistant Junior positions, 18 Head Constable Drivers in Fire and Emergency Services, and various driver positions across different departments.
The online application process will commence on October 21 at 3 PM and will close on November 5, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the official APSSB website. The registration must be completed by 5 PM on the final date.
Applicants must hold the relevant qualifications, which include a 10th or 12th grade certificate along with a two-year ANM course certificate, a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), or other specified qualifications depending on the position.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, with the maximum age limit varying from 22 to 35 years based on the position. The age will be calculated as of the application deadline on November 5, 2026. Relaxation in age limits is available for candidates from reserved categories.
Selection will be based on a series of tests, including an objective written examination, physical standard test, physical efficiency test, driving test, competency test, medical fitness test, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹92,300, along with additional benefits.
An application fee of ₹150 is required, although exemptions apply for persons with disabilities. The written examination is tentatively scheduled for November 29, 2026, with subsequent tests planned for early 2027.
