Strict Drone Ban Imposed for Independence Day Celebrations in Noida

Noida, August 15: On the occasion of Independence Day, security forces in Noida and Delhi are on high alert. In light of the celebrations on August 15, security measures have been intensified at key borders and sensitive locations connecting Noida to Delhi. A complete ban on flying drones has been enforced for safety reasons during this period.

Police and security agencies are monitoring all activities from the sky to the ground. Joint teams from Delhi and Noida police have been deployed at major checkpoints such as the DND Flyway, Kalindi Kunj, and Chilla Border. Vehicles traveling towards Delhi and coming from Delhi to Noida are being subjected to continuous checks. Special attention is being paid to suspicious vehicles and individuals, with passage granted only after thorough inspections.

To bolster security, additional police forces have been stationed in border areas. Surveillance is also being conducted from nearby high-rise buildings. Officers are keeping a close watch on activities in the border vicinity to promptly identify any suspicious behavior.

In light of the Independence Day celebrations, security agencies have heightened vigilance regarding drones and other aerial activities. Unauthorized drone flights are strictly prohibited. Police teams are actively monitoring to prevent any potential drone usage. Special instructions have been issued to officers stationed at sensitive locations to ensure no lapses in security.

Barricades have been set up at various points in the border areas, requiring vehicles to pass through designated checking points. Both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, along with other vehicles, are being inspected. In case of any suspicious objects or individuals, police are prepared to take immediate action. Given the major events and VIP movements scheduled in Delhi for Independence Day, Noida police are coordinating closely with Delhi police, facilitating information exchange between the two city forces.

Extra vigilance is particularly focused on the main routes between Delhi and Noida. Police officials emphasize that security is the top priority during such a significant national celebration. Citizens are urged to report any suspicious persons, objects, or activities to the police immediately. They are also reminded not to fly drones in restricted areas and to cooperate with ongoing police checks.
