New Delhi, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), operating under India’s Ministry of Defence, has announced the recruitment of 32 positions in Group ‘C’ non-ministerial industrial roles. This opportunity includes 11 skilled technician posts and 21 semi-skilled technician posts.
For the skilled technician roles, there are five vacancies at CQAE (GS) Kanpur, one at CQAE (M) Kanpur, two at SQAE (GS) Kanpur, and three at SQAE (GS) Shahjahanpur. The semi-skilled positions include three at CQAE (GS) Kanpur, three at CQAE (T & C) Kanpur, three at CQAE (M) Kanpur, two at CQAE (PP) Kanpur, five at SQAE (GS) Kanpur, three at SQAE (GS) New Delhi, and two at SQAE (GS) Shahjahanpur.
The application process is currently open for offline submissions. Candidates must apply within 21 days from the date of the advertisement in the newspaper. For applicants from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, Chamba district’s Pangi sub-division, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep, the deadline extends to 28 days from the advertisement date.
Eligible candidates should possess a matriculation certificate (10th grade) along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized board or institution. Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of experience in the specified trade from a recognized organization.
The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 27 years, calculated as of the application submission deadline. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for candidates from reserved categories.
Selection will be based on a written examination, trade test, shortlisting, merit list, and medical fitness. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 for skilled technicians and ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 for semi-skilled technicians, along with other benefits.
