Mathura: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday attended the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ session by Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Naveen. The event took place at Akshay Patra in Vrindavan, where both leaders participated together.
Welcoming the BJP chief on his first visit to Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi extended a warm greeting on the land of Braj. He began his address by invoking spiritual and nationalist sentiments with chants of ‘Radhe-Radhe’, ‘Vrindavan Bihari Lal’, ‘Radha Rani’, ‘Yamuna Maiya’, ‘Har-Har Mahadev’, ‘Jai Shri Ram’, ‘India Mata Ki Jai’, and ‘Vande Mataram’.
Youthful Energy and Leadership
CM Yogi described Nitin Naveen as a symbol of youthful energy. He highlighted Naveen’s service as a five-time legislator in the Bihar Assembly and his experience in various organizational roles within the BJP. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naveen has been entrusted with the responsibility of national president, marking a significant milestone with his first visit to the sacred land of Lord Krishna.
Braj’s Spiritual and Cultural Importance
The Chief Minister emphasised Braj region’s ancient status as a pilgrimage site, encompassing Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Govardhan, Nandgaon, and Baldev. These places have inspired followers of Sanatan Dharma for thousands of years, carrying the legacy of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani. CM Yogi also mentioned that the birthplace of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, a proponent of social upliftment, is located in Mathura. Guided by the Prime Minister’s vision, Braj is advancing as a centre of spiritual heritage and cultural development.
Uttar Pradesh’s Development and Pride
CM Yogi stated that Uttar Pradesh is no longer a ‘Bimaru’ (ailing) state but has become a breakthrough contributor to India’s economy. The state has maintained a revenue surplus for over five years. Under a double-engine government, large infrastructure projects are progressing rapidly, ensuring security for all citizens. Welfare schemes are being implemented impartially, benefitting the underprivileged, youth, farmers, and women alike. The government’s development initiatives are effectively reaching both rural and urban areas without discrimination.
The Chief Minister added that the youth of Uttar Pradesh now confidently identify themselves with pride. He recalled a time when the state faced an identity crisis and was disparaged for being ‘Bimaru’. Today, UP actively participates in the country’s growth, with its youth, farmers, and half the population contributing to development. This reflects the public’s trust in the BJP.
CM Yogi concluded by crediting Prime Minister Modi’s leadership for establishing new development standards in the past nine years. He expressed confidence that every worker in Uttar Pradesh will dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to accelerating progress and building a prosperous future.
