Lucknow, August 3: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath prioritized public service on the first Monday of Sawan, balancing religious rituals with governmental responsibilities during the monsoon session. He began his day with a ‘Janata Darshan’ where he personally met with citizens from various districts.
During these interactions, he collected their petitions and directed officials to ensure timely resolutions. The Chief Minister stressed that any laxity in addressing criminal activities and public grievances would not be tolerated.
At the ‘Janata Darshan’, numerous complaints related to police issues were raised, prompting a stern response from the Chief Minister. He expressed dissatisfaction over delays in the arrest of criminals and pressure in ongoing cases.
Yogi instructed state-level officials to hold police chiefs accountable in districts where such issues are prevalent. He emphasized that no one should face injustice and urged officials to handle each victim’s concerns with sensitivity and promptness.
The Chief Minister also directed special attention to revenue and police-related matters. He advocated for resolving family disputes through dialogue before resorting to legal action.
Yogi Adityanath reiterated the need for resolving public issues with urgency, transparency, and sensitivity. Every problem should be addressed with quality and satisfaction in mind.
