Jivas Upcoming Film Thagappan Releases First Song Thangapulla Highlighting Father-Son Bond

Chennai, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : Jiva’s much-anticipated film, ‘Thagappan’, has unveiled its first song titled ‘Thangapulla’. Directed by Ra. Venkat, this family entertainer is already gaining popularity among audiences. The song captures the emotional essence of the relationship between a father and son, illustrating themes of love and distance.

Through the lyrics, listeners get a glimpse of the film’s narrative, where a father yearns to connect with his son but struggles to reveal his true identity.

Jiva shared a link to the song on his X account, expressing, “Poetry, joy, and the most beautiful celebration of our lives. Feel the purest form of love with ‘Thangapulla’, the first song from ‘Thagappan’.”

The lyrics are penned by Pa Vijay, while Murugavel lends his voice to the track. The music is composed by Marshall Robinson.

In the music video, Jiva’s character is seen quietly following his son, Prem, from a distance, observing him with a sense of happiness. The visuals and lyrics indicate a deep love from the father, yet a poignant distance that prevents him from revealing his paternal role.

Filming for ‘Thagappan’ was completed in August, with production house Lark Studios announcing the wrap on social media. They wrote, “Every frame carries a feeling, and every moment brings a memory. The shooting of ‘Thagappan’ is complete. Soon, audiences will experience this emotional story in theaters.”

Rajisha Vijayan plays the female lead in the film, which also features cinematography by M. Sukumar and editing by Nagooran Ramachandran. ‘Thagappan’ is set to hit theaters on December 24, coinciding with the Christmas celebrations.
