Chief Minister Orders Suspension of Katni Police Superintendent Amid Land Scam Allegations

Bhopal, August 21: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered the suspension of Neha Pachisia, the Superintendent of Police in Katni district, following allegations of her involvement in a land scam linked to a murder case.

The case involves three individuals accused of murder, with claims that Pachisia facilitated a deal for a property worth millions at a fraction of its value. An investigation revealed her culpability, leading to the filing of charges against her.

Yadav has expressed a strong stance on the matter, instructing the Chief Secretary to initiate immediate suspension proceedings against Pachisia. He emphasized that negligence, pressure, or abuse of power in law enforcement will not be tolerated. A fair investigation and strict action against those found guilty will be ensured.

According to sources, complaints regarding Pachisia’s alleged attempts to protect the accused were made to the Director General of Police. Following this, Inspector General of Police Pramod Verma from Jabalpur ordered an investigation, which was conducted by IPS officer Anu Beniwal. Based on the findings, a criminal case has been registered against Pachisia, the land buyer Maroof Ahmed, and a middleman at the Kota police station in Katni.
