Katni, August 21: The police department has taken action against CSP Neha Pachisiya in Katni, Madhya Pradesh. Following a departmental investigation report, a criminal case has been registered against Neha Pachisiya and two others at the Kuthla police station under the directives of the police headquarters.
According to reports, Neha Pachisiya, Kshitij Raj, and Maroof Ahmed have been named as accused. The police have initiated an investigation under the relevant sections of the BNS.
The case against CSP Neha Pachisiya escalated after various complaints were investigated at the Jabalpur range level. The responsibility for the inquiry was assigned to Additional Superintendent of Police IPS Anu Beniwal by Jabalpur Range IG Pramod Kumar Verma. The investigating officer recorded statements from individuals related to the complaints and submitted a report to senior officials. Based on this report, the criminal case has now been filed.
The allegations against CSP Neha Pachisiya became serious following a complaint related to a murder investigation. It is claimed that the charge sheet in a murder case registered in the Kuthla police area was not filed within the stipulated time, leading to the accused being granted bail. The complaint also alleges that pressure was later exerted on the accused party to sell their land at a lower price.
Additionally, a transporter has lodged a complaint against the CSP, alleging that a bribe of ₹30,000 was demanded or accepted in exchange for releasing a HMV vehicle. Following these complaints, the police department took action at the departmental level, first withdrawing the responsibilities of two police stations and later three from CSP Pachisiya. Her government driver, Keshav Singh, was also suspended.
In response to the withdrawal of responsibilities and the suspension of her driver, Neha Pachisiya approached the High Court. After hearing the case, the single bench deemed it an internal administrative matter of the police department. The court rejected her petition, refusing to intervene in the departmental decision.
