Chhattisgarh CM Backs PM Modis Call, Opposition Responds

Raipur, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent statements on Vijayadashami have sparked political reactions in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sahay expressed his support for the Prime Minister’s call, urging people to focus on reality rather than distractions.

Sahay praised Modi’s leadership, highlighting his 12 years as Prime Minister and his previous 13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat. He noted that Modi’s initiatives have become known as the “Gujarat Model,” which has contributed to the development of all 1.4 billion Indians. “The Prime Minister works tirelessly for the welfare of the nation. His mantra is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.’ We should concentrate on the facts instead of engaging in trivial discussions,” Sahay stated.

Central State Minister Tokhan Sahu also voiced his support, asserting that the youth, farmers, and women of the country have faith in the NDA and PM Modi. He emphasized that Modi has dedicated his life to fulfilling the dreams of the nation, stating, “He has not made any personal gains. His sole focus is the country’s development.”

In contrast, Abu Asim Azmi, the state president of the Samajwadi Party in Maharashtra, commended Modi but challenged him to take action against his ministers. “You are a powerful man. Show us your strength by suspending your minister Nitesh Rane, who uses derogatory language in the name of religion. If you do, I will applaud you,” Azmi remarked.

Azmi further criticized the conditions in Hyderabad, where he claimed that poverty and poor sanitation persist. He accused Modi of wanting Muslims to remain subservient while living in comfort. “Your words about Azam Khan were inappropriate. Imagine if it were his daughter; would you speak the same way?” he questioned.
