Aizawl, March 8: Chanmari FC clinched a dramatic 2-1 victory over Sreenidhi Deccan FC in the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26, thanks to a stunning stoppage-time goal from Lalruatsanga. The match took place at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl on Saturday.
This win marks Chanmari FC’s first victory of the season since their promotion. With this result, they now sit second in the points table with four points, while Sreenidhi Deccan is in third place with three points.
Chanmari FC’s head coach, Victor Lalbiakmawia, made a strategic change to his starting lineup, bringing in Brazilian forward Joao Vitor de Paula Morais (Jota) to lead the attack in place of Aaron Vanlalrinchhana.
