Chandigarh Police officers and personnel have been honoured with the prestigious President’s Police Medals for their outstanding contributions to internal security, law and order, and public service on the occasion of Republic Day.
According to the list released by the President’s House, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pushpender Kumar has been awarded the President’s Police Medal. This recognition is for his significant efforts in strengthening law and order, administrative efficiency, and notable work for public welfare in Chandigarh.
In addition, Inspector Jasbir Singh of Maloya police station has also been conferred the President’s Police Medal for his exemplary dedication, discipline, and effective leadership under challenging circumstances.
Head Constable Surinder Pal has been honoured with the President’s Police Medal for his honest and courageous service at the grassroots level, making valuable contributions to the police force.
Several other Chandigarh Police officers and personnel who have rendered commendable services in various fields will also receive the Police Medals on Republic Day. The announcement of these awards has boosted the morale of the police force and sends a strong message that dedication, honesty, and commitment to duty are recognised at the highest level.
