Good news for candidates preparing for the CBSE Group A, B, and C recruitment exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the Tier-1 exam dates for these posts. Applicants can now check and download the detailed exam schedule from the official CBSE website, http://www.cbse.gov.in.
The exams will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2026. On January 31, the tests for Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor, Assistant Director (Training), Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, and Junior Translator will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The Superintendent exam for Group A, B, and C posts will be conducted the same day from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. On February 1, 2026, the Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant exams are scheduled from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
There are a total of 124 vacancies available across Groups A, B, and C.
The Tier-1 exam pattern includes 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 300 marks in total. The subjects covered will be Current Affairs, General Awareness, Mathematics, General Hindi, General English, and Computer. The duration of the exam will be two hours. Candidates who qualify in this stage will be called for the Tier-2 exam and interview.
