Jaipur, October 22 (Daily Kiran): The Bundi district police have cracked a murder case within 24 hours of the incident, arresting one main accused and detaining two juveniles in conflict with law. The murder, which took place in the Sadar police station area, reportedly stemmed from a dispute over firecrackers.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajendra Kumar Meena informed that the case was registered after a complaint filed by Lakhan Saini, who reported that on the night of October 20, around 9 p.m., his brother Vishnu was taken out by his friends Surjit and Aditya on a motorcycle. Later, around 10:30 p.m., the family was informed that Vishnu had been stabbed following a quarrel near the Honda showroom. He succumbed to his injuries due to excessive bleeding.

Acting swiftly, the police formed a special investigation team (SIT) under the supervision of ASP Uma Sharma and CO Arun Sharma, led by Sadar SHO Ramesh Chand Arya, as per the directions of Kota Range IG Rajendra Prasad Goyal and SP Meena.

During the investigation, police examined CCTV footage from the area and questioned several locals to trace the culprits.

Dispute Over Firecrackers Led to the Murder

The probe revealed that Vishnu and his friends were bursting firecrackers near Laxmi Dharam Kanta on the old bypass road when an argument broke out with three youths passing by from Chittor Chauraha towards Silor Pulia. The verbal spat escalated, and one of the juveniles allegedly stabbed Vishnu in the ribs and abdomen, causing fatal injuries.

Following the investigation, police arrested one key accused (identity withheld) and detained two juveniles involved in the crime. Further interrogation and legal proceedings are underway.

SP Meena praised the prompt action of the investigation team, noting that the case was solved within hours through technical analysis and field intelligence.
