Bulldozer Culture: A Call for Public Opinion, Says Sayani Ghosh

Kolkata, May 14: West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is in action mode. Following his orders, the sound of bulldozers has started resonating across the state. TMC MP Sayani Ghosh has urged the people of Bengal to decide whether they want a bulldozer culture or not.

Ghosh stated that if the public desires this bulldozer culture, the BJP will remain in power. However, if they prefer a culture of peace, Mamata Banerjee will return as Chief Minister. She emphasized that the bulldozer actions are part of the BJP’s culture. Ghosh expressed confidence that Banerjee, who previously served as Chief Minister, will reclaim her position in the future.

She remarked, “You may think that by doing all this, you can succeed in Assam and Uttar Pradesh, but this will not work in Bengal.” Ghosh insisted that to defeat the BJP, unity is essential. Farmers, youth, women, and laborers must come together, along with individuals from every community and religion.

“This is why we will fight together. The ‘India’ alliance will also stand united, and Mamata Banerjee will undoubtedly fight,” she added.

It is noteworthy that an illegal factory in a residential building in the Tiljala area of Kolkata was demolished by bulldozers on Wednesday. This factory was the site of a fire that resulted in two fatalities. The demolition began just 30 hours after the fire incident.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari stated that the factory was operating illegally and ordered its demolition within a day. Following this, the demolition work commenced.

Bengal’s Minister of Urban Affairs, Agnimitra Paul, mentioned on Wednesday that notices are being sent to illegal buildings lacking fire licenses or No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
