BJPs Strategy to Marginalize Nitish Kumar: Abhay Kushwaha

New Delhi, March 31: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s resignation from the Legislative Council has sparked significant political discourse. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Abhay Kushwaha stated that this outcome was inevitable. He criticized the BJP, asserting that since 2020, the party has been executing a major political strategy to sideline Nitish Kumar.

In a conversation in New Delhi, Kushwaha highlighted that during the 2020 elections, the BJP strategically deployed its ‘B-Team’ to weaken and defeat the Janata Dal (United) or JD(U). He emphasized that the BJP had been planning to marginalize Kumar well in advance, culminating in actions taken in 2025.

Regarding Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent comments on Naxalism in the Lok Sabha, Kushwaha remarked that Naxalism offers no solutions for the country or any state. He raised critical questions about the origins and persistence of Naxalism, suggesting it emerged as a reaction against oppression faced by marginalized communities.

Kushwaha pointed out that while Shah claimed Naxalism has been eradicated, it had already diminished in Bihar before 2014. He noted that in some areas, only a few individuals engaged in activities under the guise of Naxalism. The pressing issue remains how to integrate regions affected by Naxalism into the mainstream.
