BJPs Shravan Singh Bagdi Critiques Congress Ahead of Rajasthan Municipal Elections

Jaipur, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : Shravan Singh Bagdi, the state general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed optimism about the party’s performance in the upcoming municipal elections in Rajasthan. He noted that the BJP’s development initiatives have energized leaders to engage with the public, while he anticipates that the Congress party will attribute any losses to electronic voting machines (EVMs) and government bias.

In a recent interview, Bagdi highlighted the BJP’s strong showing in the elections, asserting that the results illustrate the party’s growing influence across municipalities and city councils. “The people of Rajasthan can see that the BJP’s lotus is blooming everywhere, whether in municipal corporations or councils,” he stated.

Bagdi pointed out that the BJP appears to be gaining a clear majority in ten municipal corporations. He credited the leadership of Bhajanlal Sharma over the past three years for fostering public trust in the BJP. “If anyone can develop this state, it is the BJP,” he emphasized.

In response to Congress’s allegations of the BJP manipulating election outcomes, Bagdi dismissed these claims as predictable. “Whenever Congress loses, they resort to blaming EVMs,” he remarked. He predicted that similar accusations would arise from Congress leaders, who he claims are disconnected from the grassroots and rely heavily on social media.

He further asserted that the Congress party’s leaders do not engage with the public, and even their own workers are aware of the anticipated rhetoric. “The youth today are looking for development, and they trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership,” Bagdi concluded, expressing confidence in the BJP’s prospects in Rajasthan.
