BJP Welcomes New Uttarakhand In-Charge Ram Madhav in Muzaffarnagar
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomes Ram Madhav as new BJP state in-charge in Muzaffarnagar, addressing political challenges.

Muzaffarnagar, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami warmly welcomed Ram Madhav, the new state in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and national vice president, at his residence in Muzaffarnagar on October 2. Accompanying Madhav were co-in-charge Arvind Menon and MP Basanti Swaraj. The event also saw the presence of BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt and state general secretary (organization) Phanindra Nath Sharma.
During a media interaction, Dhami criticized the Congress party, stating, “They know their ground is slipping beneath them. As people reject them in elections across the country, they blame EVMs, the High Court, or even the Supreme Court. They question all our constitutional institutions.”
He marked the day as a significant and somber occasion in the history of the Uttarakhand state movement, commemorating the anniversary of those who lost their lives at Ram Pur Tiraaha in Muzaffarnagar. Dhami paid tribute to the martyrs and pledged to fulfill their dreams and aspirations, working tirelessly to make Uttarakhand a leading state in the nation.
Earlier, on the 32nd anniversary of the 1994 incident, CM Dhami visited the Uttarakhand Martyrs Memorial at Ram Pur Tiraaha to honor the deceased activists. He met with their families and addressed the gathering, which included ministers and representatives from both Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Dhami reflected on the challenges faced when the demand for Uttarakhand arose, noting it was a border area far from Lucknow, struggling with various issues. He acknowledged the progress made in infrastructure, water supply, education, healthcare, and new projects, emphasizing the need to continue these development schemes without pause until Uttarakhand becomes the number one state in the country.
