Aradhana Mishra Takes Charge as New President of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee

Lucknow, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Aradhana Mona Mishra has been appointed as the new president of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, a decision announced on October 2, 2026. Following her appointment, Mishra expressed her gratitude to the party’s top leadership and emphasized her commitment to advancing the organization alongside every party worker.

In a conversation, she thanked national leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi for entrusting her with this significant responsibility. Mishra noted her deep familial ties to the Congress, marking her fourth generation involved with the party.

“I will work with utmost sincerity and integrity, bringing all Congress workers together,” she stated, reaffirming her dedication to strengthening the organization and fostering collaboration among party members.

As the state prepares for the 2027 assembly elections, Mishra acknowledged the challenges ahead. She recognized the obstacles but expressed confidence in fulfilling her duties, relying on the guidance of senior leaders and the energy of party workers. “We have a strong team, and the support of our young workers will drive our electoral preparations,” she added.

Looking ahead to the 2027 elections, Mishra assured that the Congress would diligently fulfill its responsibilities in alliance with other parties. She mentioned that the party aims to build a strong government in collaboration with its allies as they move forward.
