BJP Poised for Victory in West Bengal, Claims Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai

Raipur, April 21: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government in West Bengal. He stated that the people of Bengal are weary of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) rule and are looking for change.

During a media interaction in Raipur, CM Sai remarked on the BJP’s strong position in West Bengal. He personally participated in nomination rallies across four assembly constituencies and noted the enthusiasm among party workers. There is significant anger among the public towards the TMC and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s government.

Sai firmly believes that the BJP will secure victory in Bengal. He criticized Mamata Banerjee’s tenure, stating that nothing substantial has been achieved in the 15 years of TMC governance, and the public now desires transformation.

On the topic of women’s reservation, he highlighted the injustice faced by mothers and sisters in the country due to opposition parties. Prime Minister Modi aimed to enhance women’s political participation by proposing 33% reservation, but the opposition has obstructed this initiative. He announced that a resolution condemning this issue will be passed in the assembly.

Additionally, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced the launch of a 24-hour ‘CM Helpline’ that will operate seven days a week. Citizens can register their complaints via a toll-free number, and all grievances will be addressed in a timely manner. If any official fails to resolve a complaint within the stipulated time, action will be taken against them.

Referring to the ‘Lakshmi Didis’ initiative, he mentioned that in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, the Chhattisgarh government is empowering women to become self-reliant. The target of creating 800,000 ‘Lakshmi Didis’ has been successfully achieved, with a new goal set to reach 1 million. This initiative not only accelerates women’s economic empowerment but also plays a crucial role in strengthening the rural economy.
