New Delhi, June 26: European Union (EU) mission heads will participate in a significant dialogue with the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday. This meeting is part of the BJP’s ongoing ‘Know the BJP’ initiative, featuring BJP National President Nitin Naveen.
Diplomats from various EU member countries will be present to closely understand the workings, policies, and developmental vision of India’s largest political party. The aim of the program is to strengthen political understanding and dialogue in India-EU relations.
Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, in charge of the BJP’s foreign affairs department, stated that this initiative provides the diplomatic community an opportunity to comprehend the party’s journey, organizational structure, ideology, and governance model.
He emphasized that the BJP is consistently sharing its policies and perspectives with the global community through such dialogue programs. The objective is to familiarize foreign representatives with the party’s ideology, organizational framework, and governance model. This event is scheduled for 3:30 PM at the BJP’s national headquarters.
According to the party, several diplomats and international representatives from various countries have previously visited the BJP headquarters under the ‘Know the BJP’ initiative. They have shown interest in understanding the party’s electoral success, organizational strength, and policy framework. This initiative was launched by former BJP National President J.P. Nadda.
The special dialogue program is expected to facilitate direct communication between the BJP’s top leadership and EU mission heads. During this time, the BJP leadership may also shed light on India’s development model, digital governance, welfare schemes, and India’s role in global diplomacy.
The party believes that such dialogue programs not only strengthen international relations but also provide diplomats from different countries an opportunity to better understand the Indian democratic system and political process. Vijay Chauthaiwale noted that this initiative is an effort to showcase India’s soft power and political dialogue capabilities on a global scale. This meeting is considered a significant step towards enhancing political understanding and mutual cooperation between India and the European Union.
