NHAI Launches Toll Plaza Feedback Feature on Highway Travel App

The NHAI introduces a feedback feature on its highway travel app to improve user experiences at toll plazas across India.

New Delhi, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched a new ‘Toll Plaza Feedback’ feature on its highway travel mobile app. This initiative allows users of national highways to share their experiences at toll plazas, aiming to enhance their overall user experience. An official statement released on Monday outlined the details.

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, this initiative seeks to strengthen citizen participation while supporting efforts to make national highway travel safer, smoother, and more convenient.

Annual pass holders will receive a notification through the highway travel app upon crossing a toll plaza, inviting them to share their feedback on their experience. Additionally, all users can now utilize the ‘Toll Plaza Feedback’ feature found in the app’s menu section to provide feedback on any toll plaza. Users can rate their experiences on a scale, choose options related to their journey, and add comments.

This feature offers national highway users a platform to share their experiences and highlight any issues that may require attention. It will also assist the NHAI in identifying and monitoring areas needing improvement in toll plaza services.

The NHAI encourages users to actively utilize the toll plaza feedback feature and share their experiences through the highway travel app. Engaging citizens will help the NHAI address user concerns and improve service delivery across all toll plazas on the national highway network.

Earlier this month, the NHAI implemented a strict monitoring and enforcement mechanism to ensure proper maintenance of facilities, including toilet blocks and toll collection booths, as well as surrounding areas and signboards. User fee collection agencies are required to adhere to established service standards for toilets and other facilities, with NHAI officials inspecting these amenities at least once a week under the new system.
