New Delhi, May 21: Political tensions have escalated following remarks made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha regarding the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister, and the RSS. BJP leaders have vehemently condemned his statements and launched sharp counterattacks. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, national spokesperson Prem Shukla, and Ayodhya’s Mahant Raju Das have all reacted to Gandhi’s comments, leveling serious accusations against him.
In an interview, Manoj Tiwari stated that Rahul Gandhi seems determined to sink both himself and the Congress party. He criticized Gandhi for aligning with the country’s adversaries after suffering numerous electoral defeats. “I condemn this behavior,” Tiwari said.
He further asserted that no amount of teaching would enable Rahul Gandhi to become like Narendra Modi. “He is attempting to spit at the sun,” Tiwari remarked. While Gandhi speaks of disrespecting Ambedkar, Tiwari pointed out that the Congress government failed to provide a place for Ambedkar’s last rites in Delhi, whereas Prime Minister Modi has constructed an Ambedkar memorial there.
Tiwari urged the public to learn about Ambedkar to understand how the Congress party has disrespected him. “The BJP has defeated Congress. They engage in looting while we work for the people’s welfare. Congress is on the decline, and now they are inciting people by talking about the Constitution. The Constitution does not teach one to insult the Prime Minister,” he added.
Meanwhile, BJP national spokesperson Prem Shukla commented on Modi’s recent trip to Italy, questioning why Rahul Gandhi is troubled by the Prime Minister’s dealings there. “No one in Italy is asking about him. It is not the youth of India who are depressed; it is Rahul Gandhi,” Shukla stated.
Ayodhya’s Mahant Raju Das criticized Gandhi for lacking integrity, character, faith, and concern for the nation. “He is making controversial remarks about the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. By insulting the Prime Minister, he is also insulting 1.4 billion citizens of this country. Rahul Gandhi should open his eyes; otherwise, he may lose the few MPs he has left,” Das warned.
