BJP Leaders Criticize Opposition Rally, Claim Political Obscurity for Rahul Gandhi

BJP leaders attack the opposition rally, suggesting Rahul Gandhis ambition is leading him to political obscurity.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Indian political tensions flared as leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a barrage of criticism against the opposition rally and its prominent figures. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi targeted Rahul Gandhi, asserting that his obsession with changing power dynamics is steering him toward political irrelevance. Senior BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain dismissed the India alliance as a coalition of “defeated and weary” politicians. Siddharth Nath Singh labeled the rally a “mock rally,” further intensifying the rhetoric.

Naqvi commented on Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, questioning what emotional appeals he could make in the current climate. He emphasized that the courts would ultimately decide the fate of Khan’s statements and actions. He reiterated his belief that Gandhi’s relentless pursuit of power and ambition to topple the government would lead him into political obscurity, noting that it has become evident that the public is unwilling to grant him a mandate.

Hussain added that Tejashwi Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, and Mamata Banerjee are all leaders who have faced electoral defeats. He pointed out that Akhilesh Yadav lost two elections and is now poised to lose a third. According to him, the India alliance is merely a collection of exhausted and defeated individuals.

Siddharth Nath Singh criticized the opposition for staging a mock parliament and now a mock rally. He urged them to engage in real parliamentary debate instead. He reiterated a challenge from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, inviting the opposition to discuss issues like the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Parliament, rather than staging mock events.

He further accused Gandhi of being anti-business, claiming he aligns with foreign traders while opposing Indian entrepreneurs. Singh concluded by ridiculing the idea of mock parliamentary roles, suggesting they hold no real significance.

Tensions continue to rise as the political landscape evolves, with both sides gearing up for future confrontations.
