BJP Intensifies Preparations for 2027 Uttar Pradesh Elections with Ground-Level Strategy

The BJP is ramping up its efforts for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections by deploying one worker for every 50 families.

Lucknow, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is accelerating its organizational preparations for the upcoming 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The party has devised a comprehensive electoral strategy aimed at mobilizing its grassroots organization and reaching out to a larger voter base. As part of this plan, each party worker will be assigned the responsibility of connecting with every 50 families.

Starting November 3, the BJP will launch a “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy” campaign across all six organizational regions of the state, featuring foot marches expected to draw at least 25,000 participants each.

During a meeting held at the BJP’s state headquarters in Lucknow, national general secretary and state in-charge Vinod Tawde urged officials to expedite preparations for the elections. The gathering included state president and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, state general secretary (organization) Dharmapal Singh, and other key officials.

The meeting commenced with a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary, led by state general secretary Dilip Patel. Tawde emphasized that the upcoming elections require meticulous micro-management. He noted that if the party completes its preparations on time, it could achieve even better results than in 2017.

He also instructed the swift appointment of migrant coordinators at the assembly level and the establishment of election management committees at both district and assembly levels. Tawde highlighted the roles of women and youth workers, who will operate as migrants at the assembly level, and stressed the importance of initiating meetings with active members at the mandal level.

To facilitate door-to-door outreach, a detailed plan will be developed, prioritizing engagement with women, youth, first-time voters, farmers, small business owners, veterans, and social and religious organizations. District-level coordination teams will be formed for this purpose.

Pankaj Chaudhary remarked that Sardar Patel was instrumental in uniting the nation across generations. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the vision of “One India, Great India” is becoming a reality. He urged party workers to fully engage in election mode with dedication and energy.

Chaudhary encouraged officials to spend more nights in their respective areas and enhance the activities of various party fronts. He stressed that the key to winning elections lies in booth-level engagement and the verification of voter lists.

Dharmapal Singh reiterated the importance of forming election management committees at district and assembly levels. He announced that large foot marches would be organized in all six organizational regions before Diwali, aiming for significant participation.

After Diwali, the party will intensify efforts for a special voter list revision campaign, focusing on registering new young voters. Meetings with active members will begin to connect them with electoral responsibilities.

Singh also called for the involvement of former elected representatives in organizational activities, tasking district presidents with compiling lists of these individuals. He emphasized the need to engage various community groups, including youth, women, intellectuals, and small traders, to ensure the party’s presence at the booth level and maximize voter outreach.

The party is committed to assigning responsibilities based on each worker’s capabilities, making it a priority as the 2027 elections approach.
