BJP Celebrates Foundation Day with Emphasis on India First Principles

New Delhi, April 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes to party workers across the nation on the foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He emphasized that the BJP is a party that places public welfare at the core of its vision, a fact evident in its actions at both the central and state levels.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi stated, “Our party has always been inspired by the principle of ‘India First’ and has been a leader in social service. The BJP is committed to building a ‘developed India’. Our collective resolve continues to advance this goal and elevate India to new heights of progress and prosperity.”

During his address, PM Modi praised the dedication of the party’s workers. He remarked, “Our workers are known for their selfless service, unwavering dedication, and deep commitment to good governance. They tirelessly connect more people with our ideology and actions at the grassroots level. We also remember the countless workers whose loyalty, sacrifice, and struggle have shaped the party’s growth over the decades.”

In another post on ‘X’, he added, “Determination is the strength that makes even the toughest challenges easier. Our hardworking workers are a living example of this, having brought the BJP to this historic height through their dedication and service. I extend my heartfelt wishes to them on the party’s foundation day.”

On this occasion, PM Modi shared a Sanskrit verse, stating, “Siddhiḥ sādhye satāmastu prasādāttasya dhūrjateḥ. Jāhnavīphenalekheva yanmūrdhni śaśinaḥ kalā.” This translates to, “May the works of determined individuals achieve success through the grace of the great deity, whose head is adorned with the moon’s crescent, resembling the foam of the Ganges.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated party workers on the foundation day, stating, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has not only become the world’s largest political party but has also established itself at the pinnacle of Indian politics. The BJP is fully committed to the development and welfare of all sections of society, a commitment clearly reflected in the policies and actions of the central government and its state governments.”

Rajnath Singh further noted, “Today, the BJP, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, is working with full strength and strategy towards the vision of a developed India. We have the complete trust and support of the people of India in this endeavor. On this foundation day, it is the duty of every BJP worker to strengthen the resolve to build a developed India and work with utmost dedication and commitment.”

BJP National President Nitin Naveen also extended his wishes to party workers, stating, “The journey from the Janata Sangh era to becoming the world’s largest party is a story of countless workers’ sacrifices, penance, and dedication. The dream of ‘Antyodaya’ envisioned by Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya is being realized under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

He called upon everyone, saying, “Let us reaffirm our commitment to ‘Nation First’ on this foundation day and unite with all our energy to build a ‘developed India.’”
